Tattnall’s annual Spotlight on the Arts

 

A letter from Julie Jones concerning our 2013 Spotlight on the Arts Program and schedule:

It’s that time of year! Tattnall’s annual Spotlight on the Arts is right around the corner, Thursday, May 9^th.  Please come out and join us for a night of visual arts, music, literary, and culinary fun. 

The children have worked all year to reveal their art at this exhibit. They are very excited to show you their art work and to view their awards.

Elementary Music will be preforming fun dances in The Athletic Complex, and the High School One Act Team will be in character to create a festive atmosphere. The 5^th and 6^th grade band, as well as, the 7^th- 12^th grade band will entertain throughout the evening in Trojan Hall.

We are also excited to see and taste the various Picasso inspired cakes that will be brought in for the fourth annual cake decorating contest.

Spotlight on the Arts is such an anticipated event each year. Please join us for this fabulous night!

5:30 Gallery Opens in P.E. Gym

5:30 5^th and 6^th Grade Band in Trojan Hall

6:00 1st – 3rd Grade Music in Athletic Complex

6:30 7^th- 12^th Grade Band in Trojan Hall

6:45 Picasso Cake Cutting in P.E. Gym

7:15 4th – 6th Grade Music in Athletic Complex

8:00 Doors Close

 

 A note  from Alison Howd  concerning our 2013 Spotlight on the Arts Program and schedule:

 

1^st – 3^rd Grades

o   meet in the Athletic Complex at 5:45 p.m.

o   Students should wear normal school uniform with TENNIS SHOES.

4^th- 6^th Grade music students

o   Meet in the Athletic Complex at 7:00 p.m.

o   Students should wear normal school uniform with TENNIS SHOES.

o   Each student should bring their own basketball for the routine.

§  Students are already aware of this. 

§  If they don’t have one, we can use one of the schools.
