Spotlight On The Arts

It’s that time of year! Tattnall’s annual Spotlight on the Arts is right around the corner, Thursday, May 1st.  Please come out and join us for a night of visual arts, music, literary, and culinary fun.
The children have worked all year to reveal their art at this exhibit. They are very excited to show you their art work and to view their awards.
The 5th and 6th grade band, in addition to the high school band, will entertain in the lobby, and as an added element, the symphonic band will play in the gallery (the transformed P.E. Gym), while we view all the art work on display.
We are also excited to see and taste the various Picasso inspired cakes that will be brought in for the 5th annual cake contest. Please join us for this highly anticipated event!

Field Day Fun

Parents,

For the first time ever, Field Day is a half-day.  Scheduling has been a challenge; however, we are prepared for a great day.  We begin with our parade of champions at 8:30 a.m., with plans to dismiss at 12:00 p.m.  This is dependent upon tug-of-war and awards.  If you would like to join us for these activities, feel free!

Goodwill Drive Competition

April 14 -28, elementary students will be sponsoring a donation drive for Goodwill.   Of the participating private schools, the school with the highest number of donors will receive a gift certificate to purchase school supplies. The class at each school with the highest number of donors will also receive a pizza party or a classroom donation.  We certainly would like to beat those other schools and show them who really is "Best of the Best!"

Best of the Best!

It is that time of the year when we vote for "Best of the Best", sponsored by Macon Telegraph. A ballot appeared in Sunday's paper for all categories, with voting running from March 31-April 25.  Please go to www.macon.com/bestofthebest daily and vote for Tattnall Square Academy as the best private school, listed under the category of "Organization", on page 2.  Let's all spread the good word about how great our school is!
