Exciting End of Our Second Week

  • First TSA football game tonight!  A new era has begun!  Game time 7:30 - be there!
  • Band students were so excited to get their band instruments today! Rental fees are due before instruments can be picked up.
  • There was some excitement to end our 2nd week of school.  A snake was spotted, the snake was captured (thank you, Mrs. McKnight!), and the snake was identified as a juvenile rat snake!  He wanted a TSA education! He WAS found trying to enter the Science Lab! He has been released back into his natural habitat.

Bits and Pieces

  • In order to protect your children's clothing in art, please provide an oversized, old t-shirt for their weekly art classes (Green-Tuesday, McKnight-Thursday).
  • You can help our school raise $10,000!  Target is giving away a total of $5 million to K-12 schools, and all we have to do is earn votes! You can vote once a week now through September 21st.  Please be sure to do the following:

    1. Share the link on your facebook page with your family and friends....at least once a week.
    2. Email or forward the graphic below.  It contains all of the information needed to vote for TSA. If you have problems, go to givewith.target.com and enter Tattnall Square Academy, then vote.
With your help, we should have no problem earning the maximum amount of money. Let us know if you have any questions! There is one catch...you do have to vote through your Facebook page.

Great First Day!

What a great start to an awesome 5th grade year! We had a productive and fun day, and we are so glad to have these amazing 5th graders at TSA!  We would like to welcome Greyson Fowler, Natalie Johnson, and Rand Morgan to our family.  This first full day was a success for all.

New Look, New Team, One Dream!

Welcome to 5th grade!  We are excited for this school year to begin!  Our motto above says it all - new faces, new students, new teachers, new coaches, new rooms, fresh outlook.  As we move towards wireless technology to create a 21st century education here at TSA, paper copies will be coming home less often.  Therefore, this blog will be a tool for fifth graders and their families to keep up with homework assignments and tests, as well as other TSA events and fifth grade happenings. Please visit this site on a regular basis to be in the know!  We look forward to a great school year.
