Fifth Grade News - Hot off the Presses!

Spirit Day

Friday, Aug. 24th, is our first Spirit Day for TSA.  On days announced in advance as Spirit Day, students may enjoy a more relaxed dress code to give them an opportunity to show their school spirit. For all grades K3-12, boys may wear solid khaki or navy pants or shorts, or jeans without holes or frayed edges on any part , and a TSA or church/Christian related shirt may also be worn. Girls may wear pants, skorts, shorts, skirts, and jumpers of either solid khaki, navy, or approved Lands End plaid, or jeans without holes or frayed edges on any part, and a TSA or church/Christian related shirt. Dress code for shoes remains the same as other days. Students may also wear appropriate dress as on regular school days if desired.

Fabulous Fall Fundraiser (FFF)

Tuesday, Aug. 21st, our school will kick-off our annual fund raiser.  The students will be receiving their packets today in Monday folders.  Here's the scoop!...

Calling all PENGUINS!!! This year during the magazine sale we once again have a NEW 

collectible prize, a penguin.  The penguin will be worn on a lanyard given to the children 

when they are earned. So, how can the kids earn Penguins?

-         They will receive 1 SPECIAL PENGUIN for every postcard booklet turned in

only on Wednesday, August 29th, 2012 (1^st turn in day).  They will also receive a Penguin for

sending 10 emails through the QSP site.

-         For every magazines turned in, they will receive 1 PENGUIN per prize level.

For example, if they turn in 8 magazines they will receive 4 PENGUINS.

  

For every 2 magazine sales ONLINE your child will have a chance to win a FREE MONTH'S TUITION (up to $500).

THE FIRST TURN IN DAY IS AUGUST 29, 2012!  TURN IN YOUR MAGAZINE ORDERS AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE FOR THE BIG PRIZES!  LET'S GO, FIFTH GRADE!
