Destination:   State Bar of Georgia, 104 Marietta Street, Atlanta, GA

Dates:   Friday, March 1, 2013

Extra Costs:  Each child will need to bring a sack lunch; soft drinks will be provided.

Departure:    Friday, March 1^st, at 7:00 a.m.  Please be at the school by 6:50 a.m.

Return to TSA:  Friday, March 1^st, at 3:30 p.m.

Please wear your Royal Blue TSA uniform shirt and khakis.

In Bible, our 5th graders have been learning how to be servant to each other in a Christian manner. In accordance with this lesson, we would like to support boy scouts Ben Barwick, Jacob Bridgeman, Perry Hamlin, Landon Jones, and Larry Keene in their canned food drive this week to benefit local families in need. Collection boxes will be located throughout Tattnall and we encourage the 5th graders to give as they are able to. Please send your donations now through Friday.

Along the same lines, we can serve our school by collecting Box Tops for Education. Tattnall has used these funds in the past to purchase items for our student body. Trojan Legion has a school wide challenge to earn free money!! We have been collecting Box Tops all year but are going to make a final push before our next turn in deadline. The homeroom with the most Box Tops collected between now and March 15 will win a free pizza party for the students and a $50 gift card for the teacher! We will announce the winner before we leave for Spring Break.

Our Valentine’s Day Party will be Thursday, February 14^th, at 12:15-1:00. Please bring a valentine for each member of your class.  You may choose to send Valentines to both classes if you would like. Pizza Kits and Cookie Dough/Dessert Delivery Date!

Our date has been set by Southern Fundraising for the delivery of our pizza kits and cookie dough/desserts.  They will be delivered on Thursday, February 14, 2013.  We will have your orders ready to be picked up between 3:00 and 3:30 in Lockerland.  Please make arrangements to pick up your orders during this time since the food needs to be frozen or refrigerated soon after delivery.  Thank you for making this fundraiser a success!

March 13th - Parent Conference Day

 

Wednesday, March 13th is Parent Conference Day; we will be dismissing students at 11:45 on this day.  Daycare will be available that afternoon for those students who are currently enrolled.  If you would like to conference with the fifth grade teachers, please contact your child's homeroom teacher to schedule a time. This day is set aside for conferencing; however, we will be happy to meet with you anytime that is convenient for you.
